My name is Yasmyn Camier. Born and raised in Guadeloupe (a French island in the Caribeean), the "butterfly island", I left for Paris to pursue my dental medicine studies then a biology bachelor degree in Marseille.
Following a deep desire to broaden my horizons and further travel, I moved to Montreal, Canada to study environmental science master’s degree programme. Step by step, I got involved in youth associations which support youth projects to mentoring, for example. Moreover, I discovered that attending events was an informal education and also a great way to gain useful skills for the job market.
In this blog, I will share with you my way of thinking regarding education, youth and motivation in english and french.
